Stephanie is a native of Nashville, Tennessee, and has been creating art since the age of 8. At 16, she won a state-wide competition for young artists and received a scholarship to George Peabody College in Nashville. She attended school there, majoring in art for several years and left to work full time in the telecommunications industry. Having retired from a long career in management at BellSouth in 2000, she can now work full time at her easel. Painting primarily in oils, she also loves watercolor, pencil and pen and ink.
She has studied with Gail McDaniel, Cheng-Khee Chee, Don Andrews, Frank Webber, Paul Jackson, Mary Ann Boysen, Gayle Levee, Igor Babailov and Michael Shane Neal. Her juried exhibitions include the Central South Art Exhibition, (Signature member), the Mississippi Watercolor Society and the Tennessee Art League. Her work has been exhibited in the Williamson County Medical Center’s collection, Monthaven Gallery, the University Club at Vanderbilt, the Gordon Jewish Community Center and the Double Tree Hotel.
Stephanie is a member of the Tennessee Art League, the Art Seen group, and is currently serving as President of the Nashville Artist Guild. Her work can also be found on the, Art Seen and Nashville Artist Guild websites.
